Earn up to $1,200 per week if you provide 60 one-way trips per week;
Earn up to $1,300 per week if you provide 65 one-way trips per week;
Earn up to $1,400 per week if you provide 70 one-way trips per week;
Earn up to $1,500 per week if you provide 75 one-way trips per week;
Earn up to $1,600 per week if you provide 80 one-way trips per week;
Earn on your own terms.
Get paid for each passenger when you transport simultaneously multiple passengers in your van.
For this job you need a valid any class any state driver's license. You must have at least 2 years of driving experience as a licensed driver.
You should reside within about 60 miles of Minneapolis or St. Paul to apply for this job.
We provide Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) primarily for people with special needs (disabled, elderly, using wheelchair) who travel to and from Health Care Facilities within Twin Cities and surrounding area. Our company is certified by MN Department of Transportation and MN Department of Human Services for the State of Minnesota. We provide rides from 5 am to 6 pm Monday through Saturday for Medical Assistance, UCare, BlueRide, HealthPartners, UnitedHealthcare recipients, as well as for private pay clients. Our company was established in 1993 and we are currently growing our business. Many of our drivers have been working for our company for up to 15 years.
We are seeking to hire a hard working, energetic and experienced NEMT Driver who would like to join our professional team of drivers and transport passengers to and from medical appointments.
Use our wheelchair accessible van, keep it at your home. Download and use our free mobile app to get all the trip information including directions turn-by-turn by voice. Begin and finish the work near to your home. Get as many passengers and trips as you can manage. Get paid for each trip. Earn up to $30 per hour. Get paid directly in your bank account.
This job is ideal for those with previous or current transportation experience and for those who feel compassion for people with special needs. You should be a self-motivated, responsible, dependable, and polite person with fluent English. You must be a safe driver with no accidents and clean driving and criminal records. You should be able physically to manage passengers in wheelchair. No lifting of the passengers in wheelchair is needed, only pushing them may be needed.

Responsibilities: - Safely operate a commercial vehicle to transport passengers to their destinations - Follow all traffic laws and regulations - Communicate effectively with passengers, clients, and dispatchers - Provide excellent customer service and ensure passenger comfort and safety - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle - Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle - Adhere to schedules and routes provided by the company or client - Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records, if applicable
Requirements: - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Commercial driving experience preferred, such as school bus driving or paratransit services - Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing - Ability to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with passengers and clients - Ability to lift heavy objects, if required for the job
Duties:
- Safely transport passengers to their destinations
- Assist with heavy lifting and loading/unloading as needed
- Communicate effectively with passengers, customers, or dispatchers to ensure smooth transportation operations
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times
- Operate commercial wheelchair accessible vans
- Maintain cleanliness and perform routine maintenance checks on assigned vans
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle
Skills:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Experience in shuttle driving, delivery driving, or similar roles preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
- Strong communication skills to interact with passengers, customers, and team members effectively
- Familiarity with operating commercial wheelchair accessible vehicles is a plus
- Knowledge of paratransit services and experience in providing transportation for individuals with disabilities is desirable
